When used with EasyGigaHoop software, your creativity is endless! It is necessary, however, to understand how the software works, how the Giga Hoop works, and how they both work together with the Memory Craft 10000.
The Giga Hoop is the “star” of the Memory Craft 10000 family of accessories. In terms of actual area that can be sewn, its 9.1″ x 7.9″ area 230MM x 200CM is the largest in the home sewing industry.

Giga Hoop
The Giga Hoop allows you to sew large designs without rehooping.
Embroidery designs are created in two sections, a right side and a left side, in the EasyGigaHoop software. It is then sewn in two passes:
Each of the two designs that make up the one Giga Hoop design is the size equivalent of the Large Hoop “B” (5.5″ x 7.9″). Each of the two designs may be 2/3 the size of the Giga Hoop. The designs may overlap in the center of the Giga Hoop.
Think of the Giga Hoop as merging two Large Hoops “B”. The right side hoop is upright, and overlaps the left side hoop, which is upside down.

EasyGigaHoop
EasyGigaHoop software is a layout program that allows you set up designs for the Giga Hoop. After designs are positioned in a layout, they can be saved as an *.arg (arrangement file) so they can be reused.
EasyGigaHoop has the same communication functions as EasyImport, in that you can send your layout to the Memory Craft 10000 via USB, RS232C or ATA PC Card.
EasyGigaHoop has a layout screen that approximates the size and the arrangement of the Giga Hoop.
EasyGigaHoop will not permit you to place a design solely in the overlap area. Designs are only allowed within the left side or right side areas.
When a design is sent to the Memory Craft 10000 or written to an ATA PC Card, EasyGigaHoop will split the design into two. The right side of the design is sent to the sewing machine as design1, upright. The left side of the design is sent as design 2, upside down.
Memory Craft 10000
Once the design is sent to the Memory Craft 10000, it will appear as two separate designs for the Large Hoop “B”. An arbitrary letter will be assigned to the two designs. For example, if the letter is “D,” then the right side (upright) design will be named as “D-1.” The left side design, which is now upside down, is designated as “D-2.”
To sew the design, start with D-1. You select it on the screen by pressing the thumbnail image. Attach the Giga Hoop, with the removable turnkey inserted into position #1. You sew the entire right side of the design.
When it is completed, you remove the Giga Hoop and removable turnkey. Turn the Giga Hoop around 180_. Insert the removable turnkey into position #2. Attach the Giga Hoop to the carriage arm. Select the D-2 design and stitch to complete the Giga design.
