The Janome Décor Excel 5018 sewing machine was introduced in 1998. It didn’t have a huge number of stitches–18, including a one-step buttonhole–but it was this simplicity that made it popular with sewists. That and great stitch quality. Janome equipped it with the newly-developed 7-piece feed dog, which gave it better feeding than the standard 4-piece systems that had been currently available.

Suitable for sewing most types of fabrics, the Janome 5018 has an impressive choice of 18 wanted stitches including decorative making some garments have that professional finish . Plus the 1-step buttonhole function, Yes you cna even sew on buttons. . The 360 degree fully rotating hook action ensures a perfect non jammable stitch, while the clear view bobbin cover lets you see when you need to change the bobbin.

This is a very good place to have your machine serviced. My Janome is over 50 years old and was getting a bit tired and needed attention. Bob has given it new life,it is as good as new now. The service was prompt and the staff in the shop were friendly knowledgeable.
